The tot file extension is mainly related to firmware updates for LG smart devices like LG G3, LG G2, LG G3, LG G4, LG G5, LG G6, LG G Flex, LG G Flex 2, Optimus G, Nexus 4, Nexus 5 etc.

The tot file stores archive with full flash of operating system. It allows users to restore phone to factory default state for example after unsuccessful installations of custom ROMs (bricking the phone), rooting, boot loop etc.

TOT archive format is not developed by LG and often used by third-party LG tools.

How to convert:

Firmware files usually cannot be converted to anything else.
