The tos file extension is associated with the TOS (The Operating System) operating system for Atari ST computers including the 520ST, 1040ST and the F, FM and E variations (e.g.1040STE).

As far as we know, this .tos file type can't be converted to any other file format. This is usually the case of system, configuration, temporary, or data files containing data exclusive to only one software and used for its own purposes.
