.ORB File

The orb file extension is used for a fairly new ebook format - ORB (Original eBook Reader). It only works on special ORB readers and is based on Flash.

As matter of fact, an orb file is a simple ZIP archives that contains several .gau files that are just renamed .swf files for each page in the e-book.

This orb file type entry was marked as obsolete and no longer supported file format.

This type of file is no longer actively used and is most likely obsolete. This is typically the case for system files in old operating systems, file types from long discontinued software, or previous versions of certain file types (like documents, projects etc.) that were replaced in higher versions of their original programs.

Files with orb file extension can be typically found as ebooks in the Original eBook Reader format.

How to open:

Only special readers can view *.orb e-books.

How to convert:

There is currently no way how to directly and easily convert ORB format to something else. But, you can use some of the more or less complicated workarounds.
