File extension mir is mainly related to Mini Image Ripper, a program that is used to create a disk image of protected disks.

A .mir file is a mini disk image that serves as a fake image inserted in a virtual drive, such as Daemon Tools. It usually does not work on DRM protected media.

Files with mir suffix can be most often found as special mini disk images made using Mini Image Ripper tool.

How to open:

Use Mini Image Ripper or any other suitable virtual disk manager to open (mount) .mir files.

How to convert:

This special kind of disk images cannot be converted to anything else.
