.JPGE File

The jpge file extension is sometimes used for picture bitmap images stored in JPEG (Joint Photographic Experts Group) file format.

JPEG is based on a 24-bit color palette and supports 16.7 million colors. However it is a lossy compression format, which means that it drops information that is compressed out.

The default file extension used by JPEG format is jpg or jpeg.

If your picture viewer doesn't recognize picture image in *.jpge file, simply rename jpge to jpg file extension.

How to open:

Use any picture image viewer, like Xnview, IrfanView and many others to view content of *.jpge files.

How to convert:

Almost every graphic editor is able to convert or export *.jpge files to some other bitmap image format.
