What is an .GSCRIPT file?

The gscript file extension is mainly related to Google Drive web service and used for script links. Google Script is an experimental app that can be connected to Google Drive and allow users to create and edit scripts.

The gscript file contains web link to a script created and saved in Google Drive Script. These files do not contain the actual script, just encoded URL link. 

These files are typically found in your Google Drive folder that is synchronized with the service. Opening it results in launching Google Drive in your Web browser so you can edit the script.


How to open:

These files can only be opened using web browser, when you have Google Drive installed on your computer. It will launch the script editor in your web browser, if the Google Script is connected (installed) in your Google Drive acoount.
