.JPG_160X120 File

The jpg_160x120 file extension is found on picture files saved in some Android based smartphones, like Samsung Galaxy S.

These  jpg_160x120 pictures are stored in "my files" folder and it looks like that sometimes may be encrypted. They appear to be image thumbnails generated by some Android app.

How to open:

Most graphics viewers should recognize this as JPEG format, but for some you may need to rename the extension first. That is, if the file is not encrypted. In that case you would have to first remove the encryption.

How to convert:

Once renamed, these pictures can be converted using any standard graphics editor or converter. Without the renaming, some programs may not recognize the pictures.
