.EZTV File

The eztv is not actually file extension, but occasionally torrents downloaded from the popular TV torrent distribution group EZTV have a .eztv in their file name.

If the known extensions in Windows are hidden, the user may think the eztv is actual file extension, when in reality the avi or mp4 is just hidden.

So for example such files may appear as game.of.thrones.s04e05.eztv, when in reality it is a game.of.thrones.s04e05.eztv.mp4 file. Usually happens during re-packing and re-seeding when someone renames the original which uses [eztv] instead .eztv in the file name, so the original was something like game of thrones s04e05 [eztv].mp4 for example.

How to open:

These files are movies, thus playble in any media player as their format is actually AVI, MP4 or similar.

How to convert:

Can be converted like any other multimedia file, provided you find out in what multimedia format is actually used.
