The hkv file extension is mainly associated with the security IP cameras produced by Chinese company called Eyesight.

HKV seems to be a proprietary variant of h.264 format used for video recordings.

How to open:

You can playback *.hkv recordings only with the SYSM Monitor app bundled together with the devices.

How to convert:

The default SYSM Monitor program can convert the recordings to AVI format, which seems to be most likely the only viable choices.
