The bie file extension is occasionally used for JBIG images.

JBIG is a lossless image compression standard from the Joint Bi-level Image Experts Group. It is rather rare format with limited support.

This bie file type entry was marked as obsolete and no longer supported file format.

This type of file is no longer actively used and is most likely obsolete.
