File extension aop seems to be mainly associated with the JBoss Application Server.

A typical  .aop file can be used to package user-defined aspects and their bindings. The AOP archive can be bundled inside other deployment archive files to provide aspect services to a specific application.

How to open:

As far as we know, you can work with .aop packages only in programs that support it.

How to convert:

Perhaps can be repacked as standard JAR file.
