.ZPL File

The zpl file extension is mostly known to be related to Microsoft Zune Software and used for one of its default file types.

The .zpl file contains saved playlist. Used by users to create various song libraries and sort their music.

Same extension for also used for playlists from a program called Zoom Player, but that different format.

This zpl file type entry was marked as obsolete and no longer supported file format.

This type of file is no longer actively used and is most likely obsolete. This is typically the case for system files in old operating systems, file types from long discontinued software, or previous versions of certain file types (like documents, projects etc.) that were replaced in higher versions of their original programs.

Files with zpl file extension may be found as various playlists from Microsoft Zune or other media players. Several formats used for same purpose having same extension.

How to open:

Use Zune to load the playlist and play the songs from the *.zpl file.

How to convert:

The only conversion that would be possible for this file type, is export to some other playlist format.
