.YML File

The yml file extension is related to YAML, a human-readable data serialization format that takes concepts from languages such as XML, C, Python, Perl, as well as the format for electronic mail as specified by RFC 2822. It is available for several programming and scripting languages.

YAML is an acronym for "YAML Ain't Markup Language". Early in its development, YAML was said to mean "Yet Another Markup Language", but was retronymed to distinguish its purpose as data-centric, rather than document markup.

Files with yml file extension can be mostly found as data files saved in YAML human-readable data serialization format.

How to convert:

There is no way how to convert *.yml files to other formats.
