.XMAP File

The xmap file extension is mainly known to be used for a workbook format in Xmind brainstorming and mindmapping software in versions 2007 and 2008.

This format was used for workbook projects and eventually replaced by xmind files in later versions of the program.

Files with xmap file extension can be sometimes also found as old workbooks from Xmind mindmapping software version 2007 or 2008.

How to open:

Only Xmind software is known to be capable of working with this particular file type.

How to convert:

Possibly can still be imported in later version of Xmind and further exported to one of the support file types.
