A XEX file is a video game or other application developed for Microsoft's Xbox 360 gaming console. It is designed to run on an Xbox 360 and is not meant to be opened on a PC.
Unlike games for the original Xbox, there is currently no emulator available that opens Xbox 360 games. Original Xbox games used the .XBE file extension.
