The ws file extension is used by Microsoft Windows. The *.ws file contains saved Windows scripts.

Windows Script File (WSF) is a file type used by the Microsoft Windows Script Host. It allows mixing the scripting languages JScript and VBScript within a single file, or other scripting languages such as Perl, Object REXX, Python, or Kixtart if installed by the user. Microsoft Windows Script Host is an automation technology for Microsoft Windows operating systems that provides scripting capabilities comparable to batch files, but with a greater range of supported features.

Microsoft Windows scripts are used by variety malware applications, trojans and viruses to attack your computer. Don't run Windows scripts that are not from verified sources, or come from unknown e-mails.

How to open:

To run script sequence double click on *.ws file. To view content of WS file use any text editor.

How to convert:

There is no way how to transform *.ws files to other formats.
