The wml file extension is associated with files written in Wireless Markup Language, is a markup language, based on XML, intended for devices that implement the Wireless Application Protocol (WAP) specification, such as mobile phones, and preceded the use of other markup languages now used with WAP, such as XHTML and even standard HTML (which are gaining in popularity as processing power in mobile devices increases).

How to open:

Use text editor or specialised application (Adobe Dreamweaver) to work with the *.wml files. Use mobile phone WAP browser or WAP browser emulator on PC (WinWAP).

How to convert:

You can search the web for some internet document converters or simply copy and paste from browser into any text editor capable to convert document tags into its document file format (eg. Microsoft Word). You can also export print/save webpage into .pdf file using some PDF software solution (Adobe Acrobat, FinePrint etc.)
