The waf file extension is associated with Microsoft Internet Explorer for Mac where it was used for cache files. Probably no longer used format.

Microsoft Explorer for Mac is obsolete product.

The waf extension was also used in Mayim's WAF Compiler for one of its file types. Seems also this format is obsolete by now.
