Files with vmlt file extension are reported by users of Sony VAIO notebooks with Microsoft Windows Vista and Windows 7.

These vmlt files were created in the Windows Movie folder with VMLF files, when the operating system crashed and users used recovery option of the system.

This vmlt file type entry was marked as obsolete and no longer supported file format.
