File extension venusf is most recently related to a new ransomware labeled as Venus Locker. Much like similar ransomware it encrypts users files and demands ransom to be paid in bitcoins.

This ransomware will encrypt files with a strong AES-256 random generator.

Note: A variant (late February 2017) of this ransomware also uses TheTrumpLockerf and TheTrumpLockerfp extensions.

How to open:

Unfortunately, there is no decrytor available for Venus Locker ransomware at this time.

How to convert:

You can only convert the original files once you have decrypted the .venusf files.
