The vbx file extension is used for for "Extensions" plugins for Visual Basic. 

Visual Basic Extension, was the component model used in Microsoft Visual Basic versions 1.0 to 3.0. It is still supported in the 16-bit version of version 4.0, but was made obsolete by OCXs. VBX has also been supported in some versions of Borland Delphi.

This vbx file type entry was marked as obsolete and no longer supported file format.

This type of file is no longer actively used and is most likely obsolete. This is typically the case for system files in old operating systems, file types from long discontinued software, or previous versions of certain file types (like documents, projects etc.) that were replaced in higher versions of their original programs.

Files with vbx file extension can be found as extensions for older versions of Visual Basic.

In order to apply the extension, copy the VBX file to the same play as the program executable.

Probably cannot be converted to anything else.
