File extension tt is mainly associated wit the h Microsoft Visual Studio and used for templates created in the application.

A .tt file contains both text blocks and settings used for generating new text files. These files cane written using Visual C# or Visual Basic code and they are used for both runtime text generation as well as source code generation.

Files with tt extension can be most often found as special text templates for Microsoft Visual Studio development software.

How to open:

Use any of the Microsoft Visual Studio suites to open and work with the *.tt files. However you can also view the .tt files with any text editor.

How to convert:

Templates are used to produce new files based on the predefined settings, but typically cannot be converted on its own.
