The tlx file extension is primarily associated and used for various spell-check dictionaries, for example Wintertree formats.

Wintertree Software has dictionaries in a number of Western European languages, plus medical and legal supplements to its English dictionaries, for use with its spelling-technology products: Sentry Spelling Checker Engine, WSpell, Wintertree Spell Check Applet, and Wintertree Spelling Server.

The dictionaries are licensed to many other software companies, including Adobe with its Adobe Creative Suite products.

Files with tlx file extension can often be found as spell-check dictionary data files for Wintertree dictionaries that are used in many programs.

How to open:

When placed in proper folder, or manually imported to suitable program, the words from the dictionary files my be used for spell-checking purposes.Apparently, they can be viewed using any text editor.

How to convert:

Some programs allows import/export of various spell-checking dictionaries so they can be used in different programs.
