What is an .SHD file?

File extension shd is used for the Microsoft Windows shadow spooler files. The print job’s spooled data is contained in a spool file. The shadow file includes some additional information used by the spooler, like job settings.

For each print job there are two spool files generated by the Windows® NT/2000 spooler. One file with the .SHD extension for job settings, and one with the .SPL extension for the drawing commands.

Files with shd suffix are often would as part of the Microsoft Windows operating system. Used to stores shadow spooler, job settings.

It is unlikely that you can open .shd files directly, it's not their purposes.

How to convert:
