File extension sfw is mainly related to Seattle Film Works and used for its proprietary bitmap format. Mostly forgotten format.

Seattle Film Works was a mail order film processor which offered the option of having your photographs digitized. It was discontinued years ago and apparently is now part of Shutterfly.

Files with sfw extension could be, especially in the past, found as special graphics from Seattle Film Works. Pretty outdated file format.

How to open:

Several graphics viewers or editors can open and work with SFW graphics.

How to convert:

It should be possible to convert these graphics files to another graphics format, like JPEG.
