What is an .SF7 file?

The sf7 file extension is used for ROM images of applications for Sega SF-7000.

SF-7000 was hardware add-on that added 64KB of RAM and 8KB ROM, a 3-inch floppy disk drive, a Centronics parallel port, and a RS232 serial port to Sega SC-3000 computer.

How to open:

Use Kega Fusion to view content of the Sega SF-7000 ROM files.

How to convert:

As far as we know, this .sf7 file type can't be converted to any other file format. This is usually the case of system, configuration, temporary, or data files containing data exclusive to only one software and used for its own purposes. Also some proprietary or closed file formats cannot be converted to more common file types in order to protect the intellectual property of the developer, which is for example the case of some DRM-protected multimedia files.
