.SCAD File

The scad file extension is associated with the OpenSCAD, free 3D modeler and 3D object compiler. It is able to create 3D objects from scripts.

The scad file contains source code including positioning and geometry used to visualize 3D objects, or 2D drawings.

Files with scad file extension can be found as models made using the OpenSCAD object modeler/compiler.

How to open:

Primalrly use OpenSCAD to open and work with *.scad files.

How to convert:

Much like any other CAD files / models, even *.scad files can be converted to other similar format.
