File extension sc2replay is exclusively used in Starcraft 2 RTS computer game by Blizzard.

The sc2replay contains only data about what players did during their games (basically clicks, key strokes) and nothing else. Hence the files are just few kb so they can be easily shared.

To watch the replays, you have to copy the replay to games default replay folder and then access the replay from in-game menu.

The sc2replay file is compressed with MPQ (Mo'PaQ - Mike O'Brien Pack) archiving format also used by various Blizzard video games to archive their game resources.

Files with sc2replay extension are game replays from Stacraft 2 computer game. To watch the replays, copy them to their default replay folder and watch them in the game.

How to open:

You can access the replay when you copy it to default replay folder and play the match inside the game.

How to convert:

No direct conversion for .sc2replay files is possible. However, you can load the file in Stacraft 2 and use some screen recording tool to produce a video recording of it.
