The sai2 file extension is mainly associated with Paint Tool SAI, a Japanese drawing tool for Windows that allows users to create and edit pictures.

The .sai2 file stores drawing created and saved in version two of the program and was introduced during the technical preview build.

It allows maximum canvas size up to 100000x100000px (64bit version) or 10000x10000px (32bit version).

How to open:

You will need to use Paint Tool SAI to open and edit *.sai2 files.

How to convert:

Paint Tool SAI allows saving to Photoshop formats (*.psd, *.psb) as well as standard bitmap graphics (*.bmp).
