.RRA File

The rra file extension is associated with Windows Installer temporary files. Some of files such as DLLs and EXEs, which may be in use ("locked") at install time, or during an update.

When a file is locked but the installer wants to overwrite it, the new file is written to a rra file, and Windows is notified to rename the .rra named file on next reboot to where it should have been installed.

Files with rra file extension can be usually found as temporary files generated by Windows Installer installation and configuration service.

How to open:

You cannot open this particular file type manually, it is generated and accessed manually by the installation process.

How to convert:

These files are not meant to be converted to anything else.
