.RCP File

The rcp file extension is used for Recomposer MIDI Sequencer Music format. This format is produced from some sequencers released from Come-On Music's products, Recomposer series (These are only famous in Japan).

Since these format is very popular in Japan, many MIDI sequence data based on these format instead of Standard MIDI file (SMF) are existing. There are even some free software sequencers those are capable handle these format.

This rcp file type entry was marked as obsolete and no longer supported file format.

This type of file is no longer actively used and is most likely obsolete. This is typically the case for system files in old operating systems, file types from long discontinued software, or previous versions of certain file types (like documents, projects etc.) that were replaced in higher versions of their original programs.

Use Recomposer to work with *.rcp files.

How to convert:

Compatible tools may be albe to export *.rcp files to other formats.
