What is an .QVM file?

The qvm file extension is associated with the Quake, Quake 2 and Quake 3, a family of a 3D action first person shooters based on id Tech 2 and id Tech 3 video gaming engines, developed by John Carmack from id Software.

The qvm files are located in the VM directory included in Quake PAK files.

Example: UI.QVM, QAGAME.QVM, CGAME.QVM

Quake Virtual Machine is used to run the game module. The VM is a sort of sandbox to limit the damage a rogue or malicious QVM program can wreak.

A qvm file extension is related to the Quake Quake Virtual Machine program files.

Use Quake SDK to open *.qvm files.

How to convert:

Probably cannot be converted to anything else.
