The qtindex file extension is associated with the Adobe QTIndex feature installed in some Adobe applications, such as Adobe After Effects and Adobe Premiere Pro. The .qtindex file stores temporary data that allows Adobe applications to process QuickTime multimedia file more faster.

Files with qtindex are created by AdobeQTIndex feature, which can be part of Adobe After Effects etc.

As far as we know, this .qtindex file type can't be converted to any other file format.
