.PXL File

The pxl file extension is associated with Microsoft Pocket Excel, part of Pocket Office for early Windows CE 1.0 smart phones.

The pxl files are basically xls workbook files created by the Pocket Version application, which is also able to save the pxl file into the xls.

This pxl file type entry was marked as obsolete and no longer supported file format.

This type of file is no longer actively used and is most likely obsolete. This is typically the case for system files in old operating systems, file types from long discontinued software, or previous versions of certain file types (like documents, projects etc.) that were replaced in higher versions of their original programs.

Files with pxl file extension can be found mostly as spreadsheets created in Microsoft Pocket Excel. Most spreadsheet programs can import this format.

Use Excel or any other spreadsheet that supports XLS format to open and work with the *.pxl files.

How to convert:

Some spreadsheet programs still support this file type and can import and re-save it some of the more recent document formats.
