File extension pre is associated with Freelance. A .pre files contain  graphical presentations. These files can also be converted in Microsoft PowerPoint XP and earlier.

This type of file is no longer actively used and is most likely obsolete. Files with pre extension were on the past used by the Freelance presentation software from IBM. Part of Lotus suite.
