.POD File

File extension pod is used for Plain Old Documentation format. POD is used for documents written in Perl programming language.

POD is designed to be a simple, clean language with just enough syntax to be useful. It purposefully does not include built-in mechanisms for fonts, images, colors or tables; instead it attempts to be just large enough to be useful.

How to open:

You can open *.pod files in any text or code editor.

How to convert:

There is no reason to convert this text file. You can change extension to .txt to be readable by common text editors.
