What is an .PIC file?

File extension pic was commonly, especially in the past, used for pictures - mostly bitmap images of various format. Most of these format were later replaced in favor of more standardized image formats, such as JPEG, GIF or PNG.

Files with pic extension can generally be found as pictures. Many format, most of them old and obsolete. A lot of them are still viewable using XnView.

Xnview and other picture image viewers can open many various PIC formats.

How to convert:

There is so many PIC formats in existence, that it is likely that at least some of them can be converted to standard image formats like JPG or PNG.
