.OOL File

The ool file extension is associated with the Orbit, a GIS (geographic information system) framework used to develop GIS and mapping applications.

The ool file do not store objects, but only their references: the identification of dataset, model and object (ID's). When opening an object list, the user must take care that the required datasets are available.

Probably cannot be converted to other formats.
