The nr3 file extension was in the past used for CD compilation of MP3 music created using Nero Multimedia Suite programs. Most likely used only in older versions of the program. These files were used for burning purposes.

You should be able to work with these files using Nero.

How to convert:

Compilations are often burned to media disk, however, they can also dissected to individual media files.
