.NFB File

The nfb file extension was used for backups of Nokia phones created with Nokia PC Suite, prior version v6.82.

Latest backups are created with the nbu file extension instead. But there were also used files with nfc file extension in some versions of Nokia PC Suite.

A typical nfb file contains complete backup of phone including address book, messages, photos and such.

Should not be confused with nbf backups, which contain only side backup created by some Nokia phones.

This nfb file type entry was marked as obsolete and no longer supported file format.

This type of file is no longer actively used and is most likely obsolete. This is typically the case for system files in old operating systems, file types from long discontinued software, or previous versions of certain file types (like documents, projects etc.) that were replaced in higher versions of their original programs.

Files with nfb suffix can be usually found as older backups of Nokia phone made using Nokia PC Suite. Latest versions use nbu files instead.

Use Nokia PC Suite to restore backups from .nfb files. Noki or similar programs may also be able to help you explore NFB backups.

How to convert:

Certain content (like contacts) can be typically exported from these backups using a specialized software.
