.NC1 File

File extension nc1 is mainly related to a special CAD format used by Xsteel which is supported by some CNC machinery.

A typical nc1 file is saved in a text based CAD format that contains technical data for directing machine tool, such as nester, welder, drill and laser cutter, including machine toolpaths and coordinates.

Files with nc1 file extension can be mainly found as CAD files in special Xsteel format. Used in some steel machinery.

How to open:

You can view NC1 format in any text editor, however to make sense of the data in the file you will need to open it in supported software, like AutoCAD.

How to convert:

This special CAD format can be converted to several - mainly 2D formats like DXF/DWG.
