The mdzip file extension is used for a ZIP-compressed version of MagicDraw project, which is usually created to make it easier for exchange as normally a MagicDraw project is made up from several files.

MagicDraw is an UML business process, architecture, software and system modeling tool. 

Files with mdzip extension can be found as ZIP compressed MagicDraw project files.

You can import these files to MagicDraw, or you can extract them using any ZIP compatible file manager.
