The kfp file extension is mainly known to be associated with the Adobe Acrobat document authoring tool for Windows and Mac that allows users to create document in Adobe Portable Document Format (pdf file extension).

Such kfp file stores settings for preflight a function in Acrobat used to check for errors that may cause problems when printer tries to make negatives or printing plates from .pdf file.

A preflight profile stores checks, fixups, or both checks and fixups. Each check includes one or more property statements that validate the PDF content. Preflight shows an error only if all the property statements in the check are in error.

How to open:

Use Preflight Edit Profile dialog box to open and import the profile saved in .kfp files.

How to convert:

Profiles usually cannot be converted to anything else.
