The ha3 file extension is also related to a ransomware labelled as El-Polocker. Much like similar ransomware it encrypts users files and demands ransom to be paid in dollars.

El-Polocker encrypts all data files that match the jpg, csv, vsdx, ai, pub, one, dotx, xml, doc, xls, docx, xlsx, crt, pem, p12, db, mp3, jpg, jpeg, txt, rtf, pdf, rar, zip, psd, msi, tif, wma, lnk, gif, ppt, pptx, docm, xlsm, pps, ppsx, ods, raw, pst, ost extensions.

How to open:

Such files can only be accessed again and recovered when you pay the ransom in dollars. You can also wait until new decrypter is made and available for public.

How to convert:

You cannot convert or recover .ha3 files without some decryption utility.
