The g726-2 file extension is related to CCITT/ITU audio format.

An ITU standard for speech codecs that uses the ADPCM method to compress 64 Kbps PCM into 40, 32, 24 or 16 Kbps depending on available channel bandwidth. G.726 generally replaces G.721 and G.723.

How to open:

There's no standard file extension for this type of data and there's no way to auto-detect the format, so use a .G726 file extension to make the Awave Studio recognize what it is!Alternatively you can use the .G726-2, .G726-3, .G726-4 or .G723-5 file extensions to tell the Awave Studio what kind of data it is.

How to convert:

Compatible tools are able to export *.g726-2 files to other formats.
