The ffp file extension is related to FLAC audio format.

The FLAC Fingerprint is a small text file that contains the filename and the checksum information for one or more flac files.

The fingerprint is analogous and yet somewhat different from the md5 files for used for Shorten shn files.

Unlike the md5 file, the flac Fingerprint file itself is not actually used when performing integrity checks on flac files. Instead, when you decompress or use flac's Test feature, the flac file automatically verifies each file against an internal checksum stored in the file.

How to open:

Use any text editor to view content of the *.ffp FLAC fingerprint files.

How to convert:

There is no reason convert *.ffp files to other formats.
