The ergo file extension is perhaps used as alternative extension for Ergo format which is used to describe belief networks.

The file format was initially developed by Noetic Systems Inc. for their Ergo software, however the common extension for this format is erg.

It seems the program is discontinued. Should not be confused with ERGO audio software.
