The embp file extension is associated with MobiPocket eBook format and used for some sort of encrypted auxiliary file, that can contain various user specific data, such as annotations, corrections, marks etc.

These files are the counterpart to the main e-book file (PRC etc.and such).

How to open:

Probably not meant to be accessed by the user.

How to convert:

Probably cannot be converted to anything else.
