File extension df is mainly related to Lightscape Visualization System. A DF is a format used with the LVS version 3.2 to store the value of various parameters used by the system to control units, display modes, simulation parameters, search paths, etc.

Parameters files are human readable ASCII files, consisting of a sequence of lines. Lines can be any arbitrary length and must be terminated by either a carriage-return, line-feed sequence or simply a line-feed character.
