The dbproj file extension is associated with Microsoft Visual C++.

The dbproj files are used for database project files. The .dbproj files store project information using XML formatting, such as build preferences, including libraries, and references to the source code files and application assets.

The dbproj files are used for saving and loading database application projects during development, as well as building completed projects into deployment executables; database projects are commonly used for building multi-tier client-server applications.

Files with dbproj file suffix are related to the Microsoft Visual Studio Visual C++ database projects.

How to convert:

As far as we know, this .dbproj file type can't be converted to any other file format. This is usually the case of system, configuration, temporary, or data files containing data exclusive to only one software and used for its own purposes. Also some proprietary or closed file formats cannot be converted to more common file types in order to protect the intellectual property of the developer, which is for example the case of some DRM-protected multimedia files.
